Residents can engage in meaningful discussion with members of the RancheHouse at the 2024 Cochrane Chamber Trade Show on May 4 and 5.

Looking for a chance to share your thoughts to Cochrane council and staff? Well, look no further as members of the RancheHouse will be ready to connect with the community at the 2024 Cochrane Chamber Trade Show at the SLS Centre on May 4 and 5.

In a media release sent by the Town of Cochrane, it outlines that the trade show serves as an opportunity for residents to engage directly with local government for meaningful dialogue and feedback, while also learning about new initiatives and projects in Cochrane.

Mayor Jeff Genung said that with a lot of activity happening around Cochrane, this trade show serves as a way to share and discuss the many things going on around town.

"We look forward to the trade show every year for the opportunity to connect directly with the community, listen to their feedback and share information,” Genung said.

This includes updates on key community initiatives like drought management, mental health, public safety, and emergency planning. It will also provide information about the COLT Transit Study, ongoing advocacy efforts, and capital projects planned for this year, such as the Historic Ranche and Glenbow Trail Improvement Project.

Residents will also have the opportunity to share their thoughts on next year’s operating budget by filling out Cochrane’s 2025-2027 budget survey.

The Town of Cochrane invites anyone to join members of the RancheHouse at the SLS on May 4 and 5, to drop by and have their say in Cochrane’s progress and development.
