Cochrane firefighters will be hosting their annual free pancake breakfast this Saturday.
Residents and guests are invited to bring out their families, as there will be a variety of family-friendly activities including a bouncy castle, fire truck tours, entertainment, face painting and a fire hall open house.
This is the fourth year the Cochrane Firefighters Association will be hosting the pancake breakfast. Last year, the firefighters accepted donations for Rock The Waves, a fundraising campaign for the new pool/curling facility, and also raised monies for a new Cochrane Firefighters Foundation program to make funds available for underprivileged children to continue to play local sports.
This year the firefighters will be accepting donations for Share Your Christmas, an annual program put on the by Cochrane firefighters to sponsor one family at Christmas.
Stop by for some flapjacks on Sept. 10, at the fire hall parking lot from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., located at 20 Grande Blvd.
