Josh Depositar and his puppy Skye, left, and Zach Depositar and his tortoise Kiwi are blessed by Father Dan Gurnick during the Blessing of the Animals at the Mount St. Francis Retreat Centre on Sunday (Oct. 4). During the special ritual outside people were able to bring their pets to receive a blessing from one of the Friars.
