An evacuation order has been issued for Athabasca County residents east of Range Road 194 and south of Township Road 644 in Athabasca County as a wildfire continues to burn south of Boyle between the Boyle fishpond and the Ellscott turnoff.
Everyone east of Range Road 195 and south of Township Road 650 should be prepared to evacuate if needed.
Anyone evacuating is asked to travel north along Highway 63 and 55 towards Lac La Biche. A reception centre has been set up at Parkland Motels at 10710 101 Avenue.
Residents preparing to evacuate should gather important documents and medications and be prepared to be away from home for 72 hours.
