Cochrane RCMP investigating pedestrian hit and run in Bragg Creek

Bragg Creek, Alta, - On January 29 Cochrane RCMP received a complaint of a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle on Highway 22 near Bragg Creek.

The initial investigation reveals that on the previous day, between 9 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., a lone pedestrian was walking on Highway 22 very close to Bragg Creek when she was struck by the side mirror of a passing vehicle.

The pedestrian received minor injuries from the collision. The offending vehicle left the scene of the collision. Police are seeking anyone who might have any information about this crime. The vehicle is described as being light in colour missing its passenger side mirror. Police are also looking to speak to anyone who picked up a passenger side mirror off of Highway 22 near Bragg Creek on January 28 or January 29.
