Northbound Deerfoot Trail is closed between Stoney Trail/Hwy. 22X and McKenize Town Boulevard in south Calgary.

Calgary Police announced the closure at about 12:30 p.m. on May 28.

Police say the closure is expected to last for several hours, and drivers are asked to use an alternate route.

Information about the cause of the closure is not currently available.
