Calaway Park is saying thank you to Canadian heroes of all stripes with a free weekend at the outdoor amusement centre.
From July 29 to 31, Canadian forces members and veterans, along with emergency response workers, firefighting personnel and police officers, will receive free admission to the park as part of Calaway’s celebration of those who give service to the country.
Spouses and children are also being offered a reduced daily park rate of $23 plus GST. First responders and military members interested in taking in the rides and games are asked to bring identification and visit the Canadian Heroes tent for tickets and discount vouchers.
Calaway Park is located about 23 kilometres southeast of Cochrane on Highway 1 and is open on Canadian Heroes Weekend from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m..
