Helmer Twoyoungmen of Morley has always had a dream of becoming an actor and it’s a dream he has always hung on to.

Chief Dan George was his inspiration to become an actor. Twoyoungmen currently has five IMDb (Internet Movie Database) credits under his belt dating back to 2003 and countless short videos and documentaries.

Twoyoungmen was working as an extra on Little Big Man when he saw Chief Dan George act – it was then he knew he wanted to become an actor.

The elder has recently retuned from Machu Picchu, Peru, filing a short video with Earth-Keepers, a new age earth and healing organization, which had requested an elder for the project. The video is about a condor and an eagle meeting.

“I find it very interesting,” Twoyoungmen said of his experiences while filming. “We went to a mountain – Grandmother Moon and an eagle appeared in the sky above us – we all saw it.

Twoyoungmen was in Peru for 14 days with one full day of filming. He spent the rest of his time exploring and spiritually connecting with his surroundings.

“It was a really amazing experience,” Twoyoungmen said about the various spiritual places he visited. “It will really make you think … something I will treasure for the rest of my life.”

This past year has been a big one for Twoyoungmen. Back in June, he travelled to Germany to teach culture and in July he was invited to an elders gathering in Greenland to learn their culture.

This September he is set to act in a documentary called Blass One in Morley.
