REGINA — Saskatchewan is reporting 37 cases of measles in the province.
It's an increase of 10 from last week.
Saskatchewan chief medical health officer, Dr. Saqib Shahab, has said the province is part of an outbreak with cases rising rapidly.
He has encouraged people to get two doses of the measles vaccine, which is the only way to prevent the illness.
The Saskatchewan Health Authority issued advisories warning people they may have been exposed to the virus earlier this week at businesses in various communities, including Regina and Saskatoon.
Measles symptoms include fever, cough, fatigue, white spots and a red blotchy rash.
