To commemorate their “35th Anniversary” in 2013, the Cochrane Activettes established a bursary in the amount of $3,500. Our aim is to assist youths pursuing post-secondary studies.
This bursary is specifically for individuals who will be attending a technical school in the fall of 2016 and is open to applicants that are graduating this year, or have recently graduated, from a high school in Cochrane. Applicants must 20 years of age or younger as of June 1, 2016, have volunteered in some capacity within the Cochrane community and are experiencing financial difficulty in order to further their education.
Although the club is very visible in the community by supporting various causes, the bursary is a less known focus of the club. We wish to make the community aware of our bursary and the application process.
