Wow, Cochrane, you did well. In fact you did GREAT!
We are referring to all of you who contributed to the most successful Cochrane Activettes Share Your Christmas campaign ever!
The final tally of 191 hampers plus 12 seniors hampers was the highest total ever of 203 hampers. The hampers were distributed this past weekend.
We saw grown men cry, ladies coming out of their cars to say thank you and give us a hug. That makes all the effort of planning, meetings, food collections, toy drives, snow removal and braving some cold weather all worth it.
We can’t thank all of you enough. We asked for your help- and you gave - plenty of food, PJs, clothing, family games and teen gifts. Our goal of $100,000 of funds to be raised seemed steep, but all of you made that goal easy, and YOU crushed it!
We have received over $115,000 (and still counting). This is truly a blessing, the funds help at Christmas and go on to help with funding the Cochrane Food Bank throughout the entire year. We are so grateful!!!
A deep heartfelt hug goes out to each -one of you who assisted, donated and/or volunteered this year in anyway with the Cochrane Activettes. Some people say it takes a village, and we know we wouldn’t exist without your continued support!
