Dear editor:
We toured Spray Lake Sawmills Oct. 1 at 1 p.m., one of numerous tours held that day.
It was great to see them open their doors and let the public tour their site. We saw best how to use every log so that wastage is minimal. Computers, automation and manual input all play a part.
A special thanks to all involved in organizing the tours, as it was extremely interesting.
An interesting fact is that over 80 per cent of the product is sold in Western Canada.
Congratulations on their efforts to involve the community.
