Bridge and street names for veterans

Her proposal and information are as follows:
I read in the Cochrane Eagle on Jan. 25 that Cochrane town council wants public feedback for the naming of the bridge over the Bow River, including adjacent road alignments.
As I, Sue Robinson, am now living again in Cochrane, I consider I am part of the public feedback.
I like the name Veterans Bridge or Freedom Bridge.  It would be a fitting tribute to the veterans.
My proposal is to name the adjacent roads after veterans. Specifically, Charlie and Sykes (Fred) Robinson.  As far as I know, there is not even a back alley called Robinson in Cochrane.
My grandparents Hugh and Margaret Robinson lived in the Jumping Pound (Pond) Creek area since 1898. They had a small farm on the banks of the Jumping Pound Creek and the place was in their name (Robinson) for more than 110 years - including second and third generations.
Charlie was in both the First World War and Second World War.  Sykes (Fred) saw active duty from 1942 D-Day to 1945 VE Day.  He was a gunner in a tank.
They are not on the cenotaph as one has to be killed in action to get there.
I have pictures of Dad's medals (Sykes).
There is also a very good write up in the history book, Chaps and Chinooks.  See pages 652, 496 and 650 (picture in uniform).
Also, the name Robinson would be right at home in the new subdivision Jumping Pound Ridge.
If none of the above is to your liking, I would also like to propose the name "Rattray".  They had a milking barn on the southeast side of the "old bridge" for many years.  Sons, Tom and Jack, saw active service. Tom in the air force and Jack in the army. After the war, the boys sold the place by the Bow and moved to Barrhead and Camp Creek.
