We’ve just spent a week in Cochrane to finish off what was a glorious three weeks in Western Canada and Alaska and feel we have to express our admiration for the welcome and service we’ve received in your beautiful, small, but rapidly-growing, town. Every visit to sales and refreshment establishments has been marked by smiling faces and efficiency, but above all else a warmth that simply can’t be anything but genuine (if it’s not real, then they really should consider a career on the stage).
Coming from a holiday island ourselves we know the value of human interaction to add value to a vacation and there’s no doubt Cochrane (and indeed Alberta in general) scores heavily from its extraordinary ice cream parlour right through to the largest stores, via excellent refreshment establishments such as Killarney’s. Thank you, we can’t wait to return.
