Coun. Fedeyko's Trailer motion is a bad one

The recent introduction of compost barrels that added to the existing recycle and garbage barrels is more esthetic environmental pollution than our once neat and beautiful needs.

It seems a multitude of residences take great pride indisplaying these containers on 24/7 time basis. Allowing big-item utility and travel trailers on a year-round basis only adds to the proliferation to be viewed by neighbours and people passing by.

I can’t believe the cost of parking a utility trailer at a site other than a residence for six months of the year could possibly make the difference for the successful survival of a business.

If you allow a utility trailer, how could you not allow a travel trailer? Even though some other towns/cities allow trailers to park at residences on a year-round basis, Cochrane does not have to always follow the “herd instinct,” it’s what makes us unique.
