Thanks to Jeff Allan and Theresa Voigt for their observations on the Ghost logging plan.
I am an average person living in Cochrane and their letter has opened my eyes to what is going on out there.
It is important that all residents of Cochrane and area inform themselves about what is being planned.
We need to actively look after our natural world; we need to be more aware about the health of our rivers and where our clean water is coming from, and not take for granted that it will always be there. Maintaining the integrity of the Ghost River watershed is vital for many reasons (please check out stopghostclearcut.com).
It is never possible to undo all the damage that is done by clearcut logging, even if those responsible for clearcut logging had the will to do so.
