As we welcome in 2018 we want to reflect on the success of 2017 and all the help we received from the community to make Share Your Christmas hamper campaign a great big success.
Our 2017 campaign saw 239 hampers distributed to neighboirs, friends and families in Cochrane and area with a food and gift hamper. This included 833 people, 383 of those under 18 years of age.
Special thanks goes to all the volunteers that helped, donors and businesses who donated and collected items and funds for us. This includes groups like, the Girl Guides, Cochrane Brownies, Helping Hands, CAES (Cochrane and Area Events Society), Wheels for Kids in Calgary, all the church groups, schools, music societies, seniors groups, community groups, Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre, and CEAC (Cochrane Farmers Market). A special individual thanks goes to Shirley Gregory for all the sewing and knitting done. We know we missed many but there are far too many of you to mention.
We are deeply grateful to all of you for your continued support of the Cochrane Activettes.
