To the young man and young woman and I use these terms loosely. A better description for you would be "Those Idiots" that were walking their black and white dog down George Fox Trail on May 13 at 9:30 pm and saw those two female deer at the entrance to Crawford Ranch, one of whom was limping on her swollen right front leg. I know you knew she was hurt because you stopped and were videotaping them while your dog barked and went crazy. And then, for some unknown idiotic reason, you decided it would be great fun if you let your dog loose so you could videotape him chasing them. And I also know you knew it was wrong as I ran out of my house and yelled at you and you decided to run away like the little immature children that you are. I want you to know that it is illegal in Alberta to harass wildlife and to let your dog chase wildlife. I also want you to know I am keeping an eye out for you and your dog. If I find out where you live, I will be calling the police and Fish and Wildlife Officers to make a formal complaint about the incident. I also want you to know that we have seen these two deer every day or so in our area for months. But since you let your dog loose and he chased them, we have only seen the one uninjured deer. So congratulations. If your plan was to hurt her more than she was and kill her, you succeeded. Sharon Taylor
