Dear editor:
To all the drivers from Cochrane travelling south on Highway 22 towards the Trans-Canada: Please slow down, please stop texting, please get off your phones, please pay attention to the road!
I travel this highway multiple times a day between my home and Cochrane and I see people texting, talking on their phones, speeding excessively, passing tractors and gravel trucks into oncoming traffic, crossing the double solid line because they are looking at everything but the road.
It is no wonder that vehicles and bodies are regularly scraped off the end of my driveway.
Toss your phone in your trunk if you just can’t keep your hands off it, keep your eyes on the road, have some freaking patience and slow down!
