I am supporting Morgan Nagel in his campaign to gain the nomination for the United Conservative Party (UCP) because he is the best person to represent our interests in the Alberta legislature.
Morgan has strong conservative values; he is well-connected with the Jason Kenney Team; he is an experienced politician who works tirelessly to represent the interest of our community.
First, to become the UCP nominee one must have strong conservative values. I’m certain that by now people will recognize that Morgan has these credentials. He is an advocate for balanced budgets, lower taxes and a smaller government bureaucracy. Further, he understands that for business to thrive and new jobs to be created there must be co-operation between government and entrepreneurs.
Morgan’s experience working on the Jason Kenney Campaign Team over the past two years is also a great asset. These connections will serve Morgan well especially if the UCP forms the government and Morgan is elected our MLA. Cochrane will have a strong voice in caucus.
Finally, Morgan is the only candidate seeking the UCP nomination who has relevant political experience and an understanding of local issues. Morgan has shown his strong commitment to our community by working tirelessly to affect real changes. He understands that roads and traffic are the major concerns in our community and that unlimited growth does not necessarily improve the quality of life for people. Morgan created this discussion, and as the last election shows, this has fundamentally changed how local government is now managing our affairs.
