I've been reading the articles regarding the Smart Cities internet with great interest. The internet has become so much a part of daily life, we can almost see it as an essential service. I must agree with others who have written in though. Let's leave this out of the hands of government. Internet is a fast moving, technology based service that is best left to the innovators of the private sector. As it stands now, our governments struggle to provide the services they were intended to. Jim Seely
