Dear editor:
Since 1998 our population has more than doubled, but our biggest intersection, Hwy 1A and Hwy 22, remains largely unchanged.
This has led to massive traffic jams and excessive wait times. Even Alberta Transportation has said this project is not on the current three-year construction program despite residents waiting since 1998.
So please, contact our MLA, opposition MLAs and the media. Let’s keep on the pressure, as I for one do not wish to wait another 16 years to get on the “priority” list. We need this intersection upgraded now.
