A refreshing breeze came through Cochrane last Dec. 19 in the form of PC leadership candidate, Jason Kenney.
His thoughtful and energetic speech and responses in the Q & A period at the packed Seniors on the Bow room gave those of us present some optimism that the yoke of NDP ideology would be thrown off in the next election.
His clear grasp of the issues facing Albertans coupled with a discernible way forward make Kenney the most obvious choice for leader of the PC party. It is simple: Our province needs a united conservative front to form the next government of Alberta.
Our futures depend on the active participation of those of us who no longer want to live under the tyrannical and ideologically-based economic policies and decisions of Rachel Notley and her crew.
They are not grounded in fact or reality and they trample on the values of entrepreneurial spirit and hard work. I hope that members of the PC party take the time to attend the Banff-Cochrane riding’s delegate selection meeting on January 31, and vote for delegates whose views on conservative party unity are consistent with those of Jason Kenney.
Thanks, Jason, for providing a ray of hope in these dark Alberta days.
