If I was to pray for wisdom, it would be to be able to approach this subject with sensitivity and compassion.
Any lie told for long enough and loud enough will begin to take root in our society, especially amongst those who want it to be truth.
Please read on, even if you disagree because I’m going to publicize the truth and possibly save a lot of heartache and hate.
Nobody was born gay. Hold on now … I know you want to believe that lie but that is an uncomplicated foundation for the truth. They have tried extensively to prove some genetic connection, but have failed. There are many influences … environments, opportunity, insecurity, etc. etc., that lead to the practice of different sexual dispositions, sometimes subliminal and not understood. The Bible has clear opinions on this. The Bible you say? Well, I think God has an edge on smarts over all of us.
I have great compassion and love for people who get caught in this kind of behaviour, but there are ways out of it that can save people from all the social discomfort and negative results.
I am somewhat appalled that the lie has affected our society so far that the Cochrane Eagle would give front page promotion to it (“Why can’t we be part of the normal?” April 28, 2016.) That is either done in ignorance, socially, spiritually, scientifically or whatever, or else, or else they are guilty of intentional promotion of a lie.
For God’s sake, the country’s sake and social accountability let’s promote the cure and not the sickness.
I was told not to sign my name because of the reaction from those who have believed the lie, but I am not ashamed of my position, which is supported by history, science and God. I don’t want to start a war, but stop a lie. If it is not too late.
