There is an initiative currently in place to support the addition of a second elevator at the Spray Lake Sawmills Sports Centre which will support disabled people requiring access to the Seniors on the Bow Centre as well as parents with small children requiring access to the kindergarten/child care area.
The current elevator is quite far away from these areas, and it is very difficult for disabled people, including myself, to access the Seniors on the Bow.
As such, I will be making a presentation to Cochrane Council to demonstrate the need for the second elevator and would welcome supporters of this initiative to attend as well.

I believe Council and Rockyview County will support this much-needed addition to the sports centre as will the Seniors on the Bow.
