On behalf of the Kimmett Cup organizing committee, thank you for everything you’ve done to make this year’s tournament a MONUMENTAL success. Together, we far surpassed our goal, raising over $120,000 for The Children’s Wish Foundation (www.childrenswish.ca)! These funds will go towards granting 12 heartfelt wishes to deserving children from Cochrane, Calgary and beyond!
Additionally, close to $10,000 will be gifted to The Helping Families Handle Cancer Foundation (www.helpingfamilieshandlecancer.com).
To our volunteers, thank you for your selfless gift of time, hard work and dedication. To our sponsors, thank you for your belief in our cause and for your commitment to our community. To our players and spectators, you gave the day life. Thank you for the memorable games, loud cheers and great times together! To our wish families, thank you for your heartfelt speeches which brought tears to our eyes, warmth to our hearts and reminded us all that hope can help you heal.
