RVS! It’s time to "play ball."
In the summer of 2014, a group of concerned neighbours of Mitford School were told by the Rocky View Schools board that the 18 portables that were placed on the ball field, were "temporary."
RVS went on to say at that time, this would be “until the new school in Sunset and the proposed school in Fireside were completed” and “is the current situation ideal? Not for everyone, but fortunately it is a temporary one.”
Thanks to the efforts of RVS and the appropriate funding from our government we will have our second new school completed (Fireside) this summer. I now ask RVS, let our neighbourhood get back to normal. Please remove all the portables as you said. And it’s time to get children back on the ball field again.
