Wind power kills bats and birds

The guy who wrote about the un-green effects of wind power overlooked the big cost. Those "slowly" rotating turbine blades may seem innocuous, but they kill thousands of migrating bats and birds.

The guy who wrote about the un-green effects of wind power overlooked the big cost. Those "slowly" rotating turbine blades may seem innocuous, but they kill thousands of migrating bats and birds. When a bat approaches a blade, the air pressure effect almost explodes it. Alberta requires wind farm proponents to address that, but they aren't required to address the effect on birds.
