HO HO HO! Thank you Cochrane.
What a spectacular start we had for our Cochrane Activettes ‘Share Your Christmas’ campaign.
It was great to see everyone at Light Up Cochrane this past Saturday. Santa was very happy to see so many children, and get their requests in early. It’s events like these that really put our community in the spotlight.
A tremendous round of applause is due to the Light Up committee for a wonderful event, as well a shout-out thank you to Mother Nature.
If we missed you at Light Up, stop by the Stuff-A-Bus event with food and/or gift donations on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Canadian Tire hosted in partnership with the Cochrane and Area Events Society.
The Cochrane Music Society is holding their legendary Christmas concert on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Cochrane Alliance Church, and the Cochrane Farmers Market brings us the ‘Last Minute Market’ at the Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre on Dec. 15. Both events are accepting donations of food and toys for the Cochrane Activettes ‘Share Your Christmas’ campaign.
This is an example of how our community comes together to support our ‘Share Your Christmas’ campaign, which provides food and gift hampers to families and individuals in need.
