Bow Valley High School (BVHS) will hold its 6th Annual Evening of Hope Gala and Fundraiser this Friday (April 26) evening.

The event is to raise funds for the Alberta Sick Children’s Hospital’s mental health unit, the graduating class of 2013 and the leadership program at BVHS.

The evening is packed with a variety of events, including a talent and fashion show, student art work, fun-money casino, raffle table and a featured speaker from the Children’s Hospital.

“It is an opportunity for the school to host the community and for all of us to support a cause together that has an impact on something that impacts many people,” said the event’s organizer, Grade 12 student Natalie Andrews.

Tickets to the gala are $25 and can be purchased from any graduating and leadership BVHS student, as well as at the school office and at the door.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the formal program commencing at 7 p.m.

Leadership advisor Dorothy Karlson said community support, with wonderful prize donations, has once again been overwhelming.
