Children from Cochrane and the surrounding area better hope their egg-seeking skills are in tip-top condition for the Easter Eggs-Travaganza at Canadian Tire March 30.
Held inside the 5th Avenue store, the hunt will have children searching high and low for eggs hidden amongst the hardware, sport and camping gear, and household appliances. For the hunt, participants will be divided into age categories to even the playing field.
The egg search is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
“It’s going to be a fun, family-friendly event,” said Edwin Aguanta, seasonal department manager. “We’re hoping this is going to become a yearly (event) for Canadian Tire.”
After the hunt, the Easter Bunny is slated to make an appearance and will be posing for family photos from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Shoppers needn’t feel left out of the fun, a variety of items will be discounted in a special clearance sale starting at 12 p.m.
Children can register for free until March 28 — but keep in mind the event is limited to those 12 years old and under. Each registrant will have their name entered into a raffle for a chance to win a bicycle.
