Cochrane in Brief
Big Hill traffic pains

Mayor Jeff Genung said he has been inundated with emails from residents inquiring about the congestion of traffic due to the Highway 1A improvements at the regular council meeting on Monday (July 12). Town administration are considering ways to intervene and alleviate the flow of traffic while construction on the thoroughfare continues. Enforcement, detours, signage and signaling are all being considered. Residents can expect to see changes along the 1A as the project continues in the coming months and years.
