COCHRANE— Cochrane RCMP has announced that as of Wednesday (May 12) Dave Brunner has taken over the role of officer in charge of the Cochrane RCMP detachment.

Brunner has been acting officer in charge for the last 22 months, but was officially given the role after receiving a promotion to the rank of inspector.

“I am thankful and humbled for this opportunity,” he said. “I continue to prioritize the building of a new detachment in the community.
