Upon discovering a deceased male north of Redwood Meadows, Cochrane RCMP are now investigating the death as suspicious.
The body of Sehyun Edmund Lim, 19, from Calgary was discovered last Thursday at 1:40 p.m. after police responded to reports of a deceased body
at a remote location near the intersection of Highway 22 and Highway 8.
There were indications Lim’s body had been there for some time, according to RCMP press release.
After preliminary findings of an autopsy last Friday, the Cochrane RCMP, RCMP major crimes unit, and the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office are now working in partnership to determine the cause and manner of death.
Investigators are currently looking for information that can assist in tracking Lim’s movements since Jan. 21.
