Cochrane RCMP are warning residents to keep a wary eye on their properties after a break and enter attempt was interrupted in the Sunset neighbourhood in the early morning hours on Wednesday.
Cochrane RCMP was alerted to a break and enter in progress at a residence in Sunset on June 19, 2024, at approximately 1 a.m.
According to police, the home owners scared the suspect and they fled the scene. RCMP, with assistance from RCMP Police Dog Services and Calgary Police Service HAWCS, then searched for the suspect, but did not find them.
The suspect is described as approximately 16 years old with light brown skin and brown curly hair. They were last seen wearing a black hoodie and white running shoes
Cochrane RCMP is asking residents in the neighbourhood of Sunset to keep an eye out for anyone matching the description of the suspect.
