Committed to reaching their goal of filling four Toyota Tundras with non-perishable food items by Jan. 7, the staff at Cochrane Toyota will continue their quest for the second annual ‘Prairie Toyota Food Drive’ with a Holiday Skate Break.
Alex Baum of Cochrane Toyota is encouraging folks to sharpen their skates and take a spin on the dealership’s pond for the second annual Holiday Skate Break party Jan. 5, which will run from 1-8 p.m.
“We have two trucks now and we’re working on our third,” said Baum. “Come enjoy the day, the food truck and the DJ and bring a non-perishable food item.”
Those who donated a non-perishable food item will be given a pin card to enter for a chance to win one of the 2014 Tundras Jan. 13 through the regional competition.
A food truck and hot chocolate by Cochrane Toyota will be available from 1-3 p.m.
All donations remain local and will be given to the Activettes Food Bank.
