Cochrane is opening its doors to all newcomers on Oct. 5.
The second Newcomers Welcome Night is inviting people new to Cochrane and Canada to stop by to meet other new people, while offering a chance to learn about the services available in town.
The free family-friendly event will have food, refreshments, door prizes and activities for children, hosted by Family and Community Support Services.
New residents are welcome to the Nan Boothby Memorial Library on Oct. 5 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., located at 405 Railway St. W.
