Cochrane's active COVID-19 cases now sit at 50

On Friday (Dec. 18) the town had a reported 50 active cases of COVID-19. To date, there have been 200 cases reported in Cochrane.

COCHRANE— The number of active COVID-19 cases in Cochrane is continuing to decline.

On Friday (Dec. 18) the town had a reported 50 active cases of COVID-19. To date, there have been 200 cases reported in Cochrane— 149 people have recovered from the virus and one person has died.

In Alberta, there were a reported 1,413 new cases reported in the last 24 hours after the completion of 19,500 tests.

The current provincial positivity rate sits at 7.4 per cent.

There are 759 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, including 141 in intensive care units.

There were an additional 25 COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the provincial total to 815.

There are currently 19,607 active cases of COVID-19 in Alberta.
