Looking for a full blown makeover? In January you'll have your chance. Big Hill Haven is gearing up for its next fundraiser and this time it's a collaborative effort between local beauty shops. Cyndy Morin, an organizer for the event, said the fundraising committee is still working on nailing down a date and securing a venue, however, tickets will go on sale at the start of January. Those who attend the late afternoon event can opt into a draw. The lucky winner will get an on-site makeover. Staff from Flirt Brow Bar will do makeup and offer a talk on permanent makeup, staff from Elevated Beauty will do eyelashes, Dr. Corrina Iampen, a specialist in Botox and fillers will provide services for the winner and other medispa treatments. The afternoon to evening event will have presentations, a potential silent auction as well as mingling, drinks and hors-d'oeuvres. Morin said she's helped through a similar event successfully several years ago. "When we did this years ago, we had so much fun. We did one for men and women separately. When people went off and got all fixed up behind the scenes and came out for the big reveal, you couldn't even believe it, you couldn't believe how different these people looked," Morin recalled. "It was a blast."
