If you are looking for a place to take the whole family this Family Day, Spray Lake Sawmills Family Sports Centre (SLSFSC) will be holding its annual event Feb. 16.
“It is great to have a place where the community can go and bring the whole family that day,” said Shawna McNeil, events and marketing coordinator with the SLSFSC.
Some of the activities happening during the day include the bouncers, available for two to 10 year olds, the Cochrane Fun Van will be on site from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. and there will also be a ‘loaded drop-in activity schedule’.
A little friendly competition will also be taking place between the RCMP and Cochrane Fire Services at the 10th annual RCMP versus Fire Hockey Game starting at 2 p.m.
Last year, McNeil said that the Fire Services team took home the win.
The Cochrane Young Singers will be at the game to kick things off with the singing of ‘O Canada’.
