Good morning, Cochrane.
Here's some things to start your Tuesday.
Fun fact
Did you know that Dec. 7 is National Letter Writing Day.
National Today says snail mail has been on the decline because of smartphones and the internet (and the cost of stamps) but before all this technology, sending a handwritten letter was the best way to connect with people separated by distance.
Although National Letter Writing Day is only recognized in the U.S., we at the Eagle hope that you've been inspired to pick up a pen and paper and write to someone you love.
Weather
Environment Canada is calling for a high of -2 C today, but wind chill will make it feel more like -25 C in the morning.
Temperatures should rise to -9 C by the afternoon and low -5 C by nightfall.
Tomorrow will also see wind gusts of. up to 40 km/h in the afternoon.
