Allan Dean Griffin was found not guilty on all counts by Calgary’s Court of Queen’s Bench. Justice Yamauchi, who presided over the trial, read the verdict the morning of Dec. 6.

After assessing all the evidence presented by both parties, the judge concluded there was reasonable doubt, leaving him unsure of whether or not the accused committed the offences.

Griffin, 46, was accused of six crimes involving minors.

Originally a publication ban was ordered for the case, but the ban was lifted in November.

According to information released to the Cochrane Eagle, the Crown pushed to have the details pertaining to the case released to the public.
