The Helping Hampers holiday food and gift drive has started at Bow Valley High School.
Through donations made to the campaign, eight local families will receive everything they need for the holidays, plus a two-month supply of food.
Donations of gifts for children and parents, toiletries, gift cards and non-perishable food items can be made at the established community donation site at St. Peter's Lutheran Church from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Items will be accepted for the campaign until Dec. 10. The church is asking that those who donate wear masks while dropping off items.
