A Newfoundland party will be coming to Cochrane next Friday.
The “Newfie” night of dinner and entertainment is fundraising monies for the Boys & Girls Club of Cochrane and Area.
The night will consist of a fish and chip dinner, with live entertainment from comedians and a show from the Atlantic Storm. If the East Coast meal is not for you, for $15 at the door guests will have the option to order anything from the Gate’s menu.
There will also be a screeching ceremony, silent auction and raffle.
Tickets are $40 and include dinner and admission. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner to start and 6 p.m. and entertainment to start at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available from the Boys & Girls Club, located at 111 Fifth Ave. W or at the Texas Gate, located at 304 First St. W.
