Cochrane RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found near the Chiniki Rodeo Grounds yesterday. The police responded to a complaint of body found on Aug. 7 at 3:18 p.m.
Cochrane RCMP are investigating a suspicious death after a body was found near the Chiniki Rodeo Grounds yesterday.
The police responded to a complaint of body found on Aug. 7 at 3:18 p.m., where the Cochrane RCMP found the body of a 21-year-old male from Stoney First Nation. An autopsy is scheduled for Aug. 9.
Since the death appears to be suspicious, Southern Alberta RCMP Major Crimes have been deployed to manage the investigation working in partnership with Cochrane RCMP and the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office.
