Late Hours Liquor store was the scene of an armed robbery on Nov. 29, and police are hoping video surveillance photos from the location will help nab the two male suspects.

The two men, one wearing a mask and the other a bandanna over his face, entered the store and proceeded to steal a large amount of liquor, which they placed in backpacks.

One of the suspects was in possession of a metal weapon and attacked the lone sales clerk, who was treated at hospital for minor injuries.

Both suspects are described as Caucasian, in their late teens to early 20s, medium to slim build and between 5-foot-10 to 6-feet in height.

Cochrane RCMP responded to the store, located at 1 Street West, at approximately 8:50 p.m., and though Police Dog Services were brought to the location, the suspects could not be found.

As this matter is still under investigation, police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident or two suspects to contact the local RCMP detachment at 403-851-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
