With all the recent snow in Cochrane, the town is reminding residents to shovel snow in towards their properties instead of out toward roadways.
Shovelling snow away from the roads allows them to stay clear and safe while also aiding with clearing and storm water flow.
Residents also have the option to bring a shovel and bucket to Matt Kroll Park where they can pick up a salt and sand mixture to help thaw their pathways and sidewalks.
The salt and sand mixture is not intended for commercial use.
