The Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation (GRPF) announced May 15 that Riversong Cochrane would be the title sponsor for the fourth annual Run at the Ranch.
The Riversong Run at the Ranch will take place July 18 at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park as part of the Parks Day celebrations and is also part of the 5 Peaks trail running series that offers five races of varying lengths for those of all fitness levels.
“The Riversong Run at the Ranch is just one of many great family events that make up this year’s Parks Day celebrations at Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park,” said Tara McFadden of GRPF. “Thanks to Tamani Communities and other great supporters, we’re able to offer free family activities, including pony rides, face painting, hands on programs for the kids and a play from Alberta Parks. It’s a great way to enjoy the park with your family.”
Amy Golumbia, national director of 5 Peaks Adventures, said the Run at the Ranch is ‘one of the most popular in the series.’
Nicole Westman of Tamani Communities, the developer of Riversong, said her company was proud to renew its support of the Run at the Ranch and to be part of the Park’s Day celebrations.
The Cochrane Eagle will again be the media sponsor for the Riversong Run at the Ranch.
The race is capped at 700 runners, and the GRPF said that so far, registration has exceeded 250.
