The Town of Cochrane is working to get girls moving this weekend.
One-day activity workshops for boys and girls were scheduled Saturday at Manachaban School. Originally, the Go Girls and Go Bro events were planned as one-day, gender-specific workshops so boys and girls could try a variety of physical activities with their peers. But, due to low male registration, the Go Bro event has been cancelled.
The Go Girl one-day workshop is still open for registration, accepting girls wanting to participate, at the door. Cost is $20 per child.
