The annual Unleashed gala has already sold out of tickets for the upcoming elegant fundraiser, hosted by Cochrane and Area Humane Society.
With tickets already sold out, those wanting to attend still have a couple options. There is a local contest through Global Pet Foods or with yours truly, the Cochrane Eagle.
With just a “pet selfie,” individuals have a chance of winning two tickets to the sold out Unleashed gala.
“This is our first year that we’ve changed it up a little bit,” said Jaimie Anton, the society’s fund-development officer. “This is our first year at the Cochrane RancheHouse.”
The evening will host dueling pianos accompanied by a silent and live auction, with WestJet tickets up for raffle. Food and drinks will also be served.
“It’s a good chance to mingle and have a nice time – it’s not a formal sit-down dinner,” Anton said. “This is one of our big fundraisers for the shelter.”
The Unleashed gala is presented by ATB Financial with local sponsors Global Pet Foods, Gryzko Harper Bouw Chartered Accountants, Glenmore Dental, The Cooperators, Cochrane Registries, Horizon Equestrian, Spartan, and Arrowhead Veterinary Centre.
“The support has been fantastic – I think it’s going to be a fun evening,” Anton said.
